SAT Conference 2020 Announced

The conference this year is on the theme of outsiders:

I all alone beweep my outcast state—
Insiders, Outsiders: Shakespeare and the Court

Shakespeare seems fascinated by themes of exile, exclusion, and separation from loved ones, repeatedly dramatising outsiders banished from favour. At the same time, many scholars suggest his plays are riddled with insider knowledge of the Elizabethan Court.

This is an online conference and is in association with Brunel University London.
