Brunel University hosts Shakespeare Week

From 23–26 April 2018, Brunel University will host Shakespeare Week, a series of events dedicated to Shakespeare and focused on the authorship question. Events include Sir Mark Rylance and friends reading from I Am Shakespeare; a debate between Professor Alan Nelson and Dr. Ros Barber; Alexander Waugh presents a talk called “Shakespeare Was a Fake . . . and I can prove it”; and Prof. William Leahy and Prof. Tom Betteridge discuss “Brexit, Trump, and the Bard’s Legacy: Do Shakespeare’s plays still matter?” Apart from Sir Mark Rylance’s event, tickets are free.
