Authorship debate in Wiltshire

On Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 6.30 p.m., Alexander Waugh will engage in a debate on the Shakespeare authorship question with Clare, Countess of Oxford and Asquith, at historic Mells Park near Frome. The debate, which is part of a Shakespeare Weekend, will be chaired by Professor Gerard Kilroy.

On Sunday, September 16, at 2 p.m., Illyria’s The Merchant of Venice will be performed in the Elizabethan Playhouse at Corsley.
