SAT Annual Conference 2018: Booking opens

This year’s conference title is “The Merciful Construction of Good Women: Gender, Shakespeare, and Authorship.” Hosted at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London, it includes an all-female roster of speakers who will focus on the gender and Shakespeare, including a presentation on Emilia Bassano Lanier, A. L. Rowse’s “Dark Lady.” Leading Shakespearean actors will talk about playing Shakespeare’s women, including Mark Rylance.
